Water & Air Pollution Control
When it comes to spray technology used for pollution control, there’s little room for error. Nozzles must be thoroughly tested, deliver the promised performance and be available with reasonable lead times. We excel in these areas... and that’s why we are the preferred source in the global marketplace for spray products.

Dust Control
Based on the elements of your operation, there are many factors to take into consideration when considering spray technology as your dust control solution. A few of these factors include: the process and material producing the dust; where in your operation the dust is being generated; and the utilities and resources (electricity, compressed air, water, labour, etc.) available. Wet systems using spray technology are used for dust prevention (humidity/moisture content in the material is increased to prevent dust from becoming airborne) and dust suppression/capture (humidity/moisture is added to the air to capture dust particles that are already airborne).

These systems use spray nozzles to apply water and/or chemicals such as wetting, foaming and binding agents to dust particles. However, the system configuration varies depending on the goal – dust prevention or airborne dust suppression. Most operations require both prevention and suppression to effectively control dust. It is important to understand the differences between these two systems to ensure proper spray nozzle specification and operation.

NOx Control
Regulations for nitrogen oxides (NOx) emission are stringent and likely to become even more so in the future. Spray technology is widely used in waste incinerators, steel mills, cement kilns, power plants, pulp & paper recovery boilers and other manufacturing operations to control NOx. Dual-fluid atomization, where ammonia or urea is mixed with compressed air and injected into the gas stream, is the preferred approach in both Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR) systems. However, there are many differences in dual-fluid systems and it is important to partner with a company that has a full range of services to ensure the desired system performance and emission reductions are achieved. Spraying Systems Co. is uniquely qualified to help you with your NOx control needs.

More than 80 years of spray technology experience has enabled us to develop the broadest product line of spray nozzles and lances in the industry. AutoJet® Spray Controllers provide precise, closed-loop control for our turnkey spray systems. Our industry-leading research and testing services allow us to evaluate your requirements and help ensure your performance goals are met.

Cleaning & Disinfection Spray
Our PathoSans System transforms ordinary softened tap water into two types of electrochemically activated solutions – PathoClean® and PathoCide®. These two solutions are produced automatically can replace most of the chemical cleaners.

Our PathoCide® (Dilute Hypochlorous Acid Solution) electrolyzed water and hypochlorous acid (0.02%) is a sanitizer/disinfectant. It is 99.9999% effective against most viruses and pathogen. It is free of alcohol, fragrances, dyes and additives. It is effective against E.Coli, MRSA, norovirus and other pathogens.

Our PathoClean® (Dilute Sodium Hydroxide) electrolyzed water and 400ppm Sodium Hydroxide (0.04%) is an environmentally friendly cleaner/degreaser. It does not contain bleach, phosphates, ammonia or petrochemicals. It is used for surface cleaning and biofilm removal.

Spray disinfection is widely used as a cost-effective disinfection method. Spraying Systems Co. integrates the application experience of many mature cases and launches a series of spraying products, including portable, handheld, backpack, movable and stationary, with the flow per hour ranging from less than a litre to several cubic meters, suitable for different occasions.
